The Bay East offices and Technical Support Center will be closed on the following days:
  • November 27 & 28: Thanksgiving
  • December 18: Close at 1pm for Staff Appreciation
  • December 25 & 26: Christmas
  • December 31: Office Inventory (Bay East Tech Support will be open)
  • January 1: New Year's Day

Effective November 3, the Bay East Tech Support Center hours changed to 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Government Affairs

On November 4, voters in Dublin, Fremont, Pleasanton, San Leandro, and Union City went to the polls to re-elected incumbent candidates and bring some new blood into city hall. Of the nine candidates either elected or re-elected six were endorsed by Bay East.

  • Dublin: All three of the Bay East-endorsed candidates were elected - Tim Sbranti for Mayor and Kevin Hart and Kasie Hildenbrand for City Council.
  • Fremont: Two of the three Bay East candidates were elected - Mayor Bob Wasserman and City Council member Bob Wieckowski. Suzanne Chan won the second open city council seat.
  • Pleasanton: Mayor Jennifer Hosterman was re-elected - she was endorsed by Bay East. Incumbent City Council members Cindy McGovern and Matt Sullivan were both re-elected.
  • San Leandro: Ursula Reed won the run-off election for the city council seat representing District 2.
  • Union City: Mayor Mark Green and City Council member Jim Navarro were re-elected.
  • Congressman Jerry McNerney was reelected due in part to support from NAR. He has been extremely supportive of REALTOR issues during his time in Washington D.C.

Open Enrollment for C.A.R. Healthcare

C.A.R. members have until November 30 to apply for a C.A.R. endorsed medical plan with Blue Cross of California or Kaiser Permanente. These programs are guaranteed issuer for REALTORS® who have been C.A.R. members for at least 60 days. Spouses and children may join with the member. Paragon Password Change

Effective November 12, all Paragon users were required to create a new password to ensure the integrity of the MLS systems. If you haven’t changed your password, simply login as normal and follow the prompts. As an added security measure, you will not be allowed to repeat the previous password.
